"We're right on target," said Gordon Wells, President of AdSource.com, " The marketing communications industry is now recognizing our significance."
Wells was referring to the registrations on his upstart new web site. AdSource.com is designed to be the most comprehensive and logical way to find resources in the business of marketing communications on the web.
AdSource.com charges the resource, no matter their trade, a flat fee of $34.95 per year to register their services. Each resource gets a bio page outlining their services, including contact information, and if they have one, a hot-link to their web site.
"We don't want to stand in the way of commerce," said Wells, "We're just trying to make it easier for the business community to find the resources they need." Anyone looking for help has free access to the database on a city-by-city basis, or nationwide.
"Whether you need an advertising agency in Augusta, a photographer in Atlanta, a premium company in St. Louis, or a graphic designer in Hoboken, they're there," said Wells, "The site couldn't be simpler."
Wells' motivation is simple, too. "Finding marketing communications resources on the web is time consuming and hard. You have to wade through a bunch of odd sites to find what you need. AdSource.com is what it does."
Recently launched, and after some serious testing, AdSource.com is still in the population stage. Judging by the response, Wells doesn't want to mess with a good thing. "You wouldn't believe the thanks I have received. People realize our significance and our potential. The future looks great."
